Stephen leads the Insight, CRM, Product Innovation, Marketing and Corporate Communications teams at Hammerson. He has been responsible for championing the group approach to Brand Strategy, Shopper Experience and Digital Innovation - supporting the creation of destinations that excite shoppers, attract retailers, reward investors and serve communities. Recent innovation initiatives include the launch of ‘Style Seeker’, an AI enabled visual search tool to help shoppers find products more easily and a website chatbot delivering responses to shopper queries. Prior to joining Hammerson, Stephen held senior marketing, crm and multi-channel roles at Dixons Retail, Home Retail Group and various advertising agencies.

Hammerson own, manage and curate winning European destinations focused on flagship retail destinations and Premium Outlets. As at end of June 2018, our portfolio of high-quality retail property had a value of £10.6 billion. Key retail venues include, Bullring, Birmingham: Bicester Village, Oxfordshire, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin; and Les Terrasses du Port, Marseille.
