Andrew Darrow is a leader, strategist and dealmaker for entertainment properties, brands, content and programming and for those seeking to leverage them, across all media, and in retail/leisure destinations. He is an advisor to the world's most renowned entertainment companies, studios, talent, content owners, property developers and leisure operators. Darrow's global network of business relationships spans more than 50 countries on 6 continents.

Most recently, Darrow served as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer for The Void where he led its meteoric growth to the top of the location-based VR industry. Darrow also served as EVP of KidZania, leading its international expansion from startup to world leader in experiential edutainment. Previously, he led the Music and Entertainment division for Octagon. 

As VP of NBC Enterprises, Darrow directed the commercialization of the network’s content for use in strategic ventures and consumer products. At acclaimed producer, Broadway Video, he led content commercialization with a focus on Saturday Night Live where he also produced SNL: 25 Years of Music.

Darrow has held executive positions as an entertainment attorney, an A&R executive at MCA Records, and a manager at Overland Management where he guided the careers of music artists including Talking Heads, the B-52s and the Ramones. 

He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Saudi Entertainment Ventures and on the Advisory Board for Urban Legacies Ltd. 




Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) was established by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) in December 2017. The company is mandated to invest in, develop and operate diversified world-class entertainment facilities in a four-fold ecosystem that includes movie theaters, large-scale integrated entertainment and dining complexes, amusement and theme parks, and family entertainment centers. 

As the PIF’s key investment arm for entertainment, SEVEN’s strategic focus is to make entertainment and lifestyle destinations available and accessible across the Kingdom. The company invests in the entertainment sector, increases sector expansion, diversifies the service offering, and raises the quality of entertainment offerings to international standards, while building capacity and up-skilling local talent in the entertainment field across the Kingdom.

SEVEN already launched Saudi Arabia’s first cinema in 35 years in partnership with U.S. based AMC Group, the world’s largest cinema operator, in 2018. Together, they will open 50 theaters across the Kingdom by 2022 with more than 250 screens. 

The Private Investment Fund, expects projects to serve more than 50 million visitors, provide more than 22,000 direct jobs and contribute to the GDP by approximately SAR 8 billion by 2030.
