Bryce Turner - President - DDG BCT Architects

Bryce Turner is the President of DDG and its parent company, BCT Architects. A Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Bryce has directed the design of projects in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. He is passionate about commercial places that promote socialization and reinforce community; with special emphasis on the lifestyle trends that impact these places. He and his associates have led the design of significant projects such as National Harbor and Fairfax Corner in Washington, DC and Akmerkez and Istinye Park in Istanbul, Turkey.

An advocate for smart and sustainable growth, Bryce sits on the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) National Redevelopment and Reuse Council and ULI Washington’s and ULI Baltimore’s District Council Advisory Boards. From 2002-2007 he served as Chair of the ULI Baltimore District Council.

In 2011, the Governor of the State of Maryland, Martin O’Malley, appointed Bryce to the Maryland Sustainable Growth Commission, and in 2015 Governor Hogan re-appointed him.


Turner served as a Vice President of DDG until 1994 before joining BCT where he led the acquisition of DDG in 2016. DDG focuses on retail-driven mixed-use projects in Europe, Asia, and emerging markets and BCT focuses on similar opportunities in the United States. 

Bryce is a graduate of Virginia Tech's College of Architecture and Urban Studies and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Urban
